Data format we handle at CRI
We handle ASCII(text data; the extension is usually .txt), Microsoft Word and Excel, netcdf, HDF(V,VS,VF,VH,AN, DFR8,DF24,H,HE,HL,HD) and Matlab native files. We will not ask any additional cost to read these data files. If your data are binary data and the format is not one of those listed above, we need to know exact information about which bit of which byte means what. We might need to write a program to read your data file in that case and we might ask you an additional cost for that.
If your data are on a printed paper or numbers shown in an image file(such as JPEG file produced by a scanner), we need to type those numbers into our computer and we would ask you an additional cost.
In any case, we need to read data into our copumter first to process and/or analyze data. To do so, we need to know the format of your data in detail.
